The best budget IEM

Budget IEMs are a crowded place. You have tangzu, chu and zero as the reigning supremes in this range and there are DSP options too. It has been a while since I explored this category and the bunny piqued my interest owing to it being a DSP model as well as a great accompanying app.

Out of the box the bunny sounds great, the overall resolution and texture is great for its price range and the tuning is also good, I noticed a slight edge to the vocals which was a bit distracting but it was solved by just using the popular sound preset from the app.

Other than that in the app you get a 5 band PEQ and it really works and the bunny takes to eq quite well if I might say.

With the popular preset I like the bunny more than the chu2 dsp, the salnotes zero, I haven't tried the tangzu yet so can't comment on them.

The bass is rumbly, mid bass is thumpy, treble is extended not that smooth but its extended pretty, overall timbre is natural and have a decent soundstage and sense of separation. Infact in terms of performance it trumps the hexa for me as this have better bass texture.
